Our office is at No. 44/2 on Church Road, right in the Bhogal area of Jangpura. It is an old building and you can feel the history when you walk in. There are stacks of files everywhere because insurance involves a lot of paperwork. We spend our days talking to people who come in with their claims or who need to renew their policies. It is a busy street outside, so there is always the sound of horns and people walking by. We have those old wooden desks that have been here forever. It is not a modern, high-tech office. We still use a lot of paper and pens. The fans overhead hum all day long. We know many of the people who come in because they live nearby in Jangpura. It is a local sort of feeling even though we are part of a bigger company. We don't use a lot of fancy talk. We just explain the forms and tell people what they need to bring. Sometimes there is a wait, and people sit on the benches and chat. We try to get through the work as steadily as we can. It is just a regular office doing a regular job for the neighborhood folks. We have been on this corner for a long time and the routine stays pretty much the same day in and day out, year after year.
