Legend Crafts

Down in Mahipalpur Extn., specifically at A-44/B on Lane 2, is where Legend Crafts is located. It’s one of those narrow lanes where you have to be careful how you park your bike. The building isn't much to look at, but it’s where we do everything. Inside, there are shelves filled with all kinds of stuff we’ve been working on over the years. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes because we keep adding more storage as we go. The air is usually a bit still, and it gets quite warm in the summer months. We have a few old fans that do their best, but they mostly just move the warm air around. There’s always someone sitting in the corner focused on some small detail of a craft piece. We don't really do the whole corporate thing here; it’s more about just getting the orders filled and making sure the quality is okay. The neighbors are mostly other workshops or small shops, so it’s a pretty loud and active neighborhood. Sometimes we stand out in the lane for a break just to see what’s going on. It’s an honest place with a lot of character, even if the walls could use a new coat of paint. We’ve been here long enough that the postman doesn't even have to look at the address anymore. It’s just home for us and our work. We don't need much more than a solid table and some good light.
