Labella Dance School

You can find us at Flat No. J12 in the Jay Extinction building. We are located in Laxmi Nagar, right near Sita Dairy. Being near the dairy is helpful because everyone knows where that is. The school is inside a flat, so it has a very different feel than a traditional school building. It’s a bit more personal and close-knit. We have mirrors on the walls and the floors are kept very clean for the dancing. Laxmi Nagar is a residential area, so it stays relatively quiet around the building. You can hear the music playing from inside the flat during our sessions. We don't have a big stage or a grand lobby. It’s just a space where people come to move and learn. Sometimes it gets a little cramped when there is a full class, but we make it work. The neighbors are used to us by now. We don't put out a lot of flyers; people usually find out about us from their friends or by walking past the Jay Extinction block. It’s a modest setup, but it serves us well. We just focus on the steps and the rhythm. There’s no need for anything fancy when you’re just trying to learn how to dance. It’s a practical, local place for the neighborhood and we enjoy the people who come through our doors.
