L K Dance Academy

If you walk past the S N Morden Public School in New Ashok Nagar, you will probably hear the music coming from our place. L K Dance Academy is tucked away at A-444, and it is usually pretty busy in the afternoons when the kids get out of their regular classes. We started this because we liked to dance and there was not much else happening in this part of Ghazipur for people who wanted to move a bit. The floor gets a lot of use every single day. We have all sorts of people coming in, from little children who can barely stand still to some older folks who just want to stay active. It gets quite loud sometimes, but the neighbors are mostly used to it by now. We do not have any big stage or anything, just a good space with some mirrors where people can practice their steps. Sometimes we get the routines wrong and everyone just laughs and tries again. That is just how it goes here. It is not about being a professional performer, it is just about showing up and having a go at it. The room can get a bit stuffy when it is full, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It is a local spot where people feel comfortable just being themselves. If you are looking for us, just find the school and we are right there.
