Kutch Handicrafts

We are located at Shop No. 56 in M. M. Janpath. If you have ever walked through Janpath, you know how it is. There is a constant stream of people and lots of noise from the street vendors nearby. Kutch Handicrafts is a small shop, and we have it packed from floor to ceiling with things we bring in. It is a bit of a tight fit when more than two people walk in at the same time. We spend a lot of time dusting the shelves because the Janpath dust never stops. Most of our day is spent talking to people who wander in and showing them the different patterns and fabrics. We don't have a big back office or anything; everything happens right there behind the small counter. It can get very hot in the afternoons, so we keep the small table fan running all day long. We have been in this spot for a good while, and we have seen the market change quite a bit over the years. Some days are very slow and we just sit and watch the crowds go by, while other days are so busy we barely have time to eat. We don't do any big advertising. People just find us while they are walking around. It is a simple way to run a shop, and it keeps us busy enough.
