Vijrah Exim Pvt. Ltd. is located in the Victoria Cross Building, which is right in the heart of Karol Bagh at 306. If you know Delhi, you know Karol Bagh is one of those places that never really sleeps. There is a constant stream of shoppers, cars, and vendors right outside. Being on the third floor helps a little with the noise, but you can still hear the buzz of the market all day long. The building itself is quite busy, with lots of other offices and shops crammed in together. We have a modest setup here with a few computers and a lot of filing cabinets. The elevator in the building can be a bit temperamental, so we often end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout by the end of the week. We spend our hours coordinating between manufacturers and clients, often staying late to catch people in different time zones. The office usually smells like coffee and old paper. We have a small balcony where we keep some potted plants, though they struggle a bit with the city air. It’s a functional space where we prioritize getting things done over looking fancy. Most of our furniture was bought second-hand and is mismatched, but it serves its purpose. We’ve grown accustomed to the chaos of the neighborhood and wouldn't really know how to work in a quiet place anymore.
