Travel Day India

Our office is over at No. 3A- 112 in Karol Bagh. If you know Delhi, you know Karol Bagh is always moving. It’s loud and there’s always something happening right outside the door. We spend most of our time on the phones or looking at travel schedules. Travel Day India isn’t a huge company with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group of people working out of this space. The office isn't very large, but we’ve made it work for us over the years. We have maps on the walls and plenty of notebooks scattered around. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We don’t use any fancy scripts when people call us. We just talk like regular people and try to help with what they need. Working in Karol Bagh means you get used to the noise of the rickshaws and the crowds. It’s a central spot so it’s easy for people to reach us, even if the traffic is bad. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that hung up. We just come in, do the bookings, and go home. Some days are very slow and we just sit around talking, and other days we can’t even find time to eat lunch. That’s just how the travel business goes. We’ve been here long enough to know the rhythm of the place and the local shops around here.
