Kamal Books International

We have been running Kamal Books International for a good while now. Our shop is located at Shop No. 27 in the D.D.A. Shopping Centre over in Arjun Nagar. It is quite easy to find if you are near Safdarjung Enclave or walking around near Dr Park. The shop isn't fancy or anything like those big malls. We just have stacks of books everywhere and we spend most of our mornings dusting the shelves and organizing the new arrivals that come in boxes. Some days it gets pretty crowded in here, especially when the neighborhood kids come by after school, but we don't mind the noise much. We mostly just keep to ourselves and make sure the books are in the right places so people can find what they need without asking too many questions. The D.D.A. centre has been our home for years and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here by name. It’s a quiet enough spot during the weekdays. We don't really do much advertising or stuff like that. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign while heading to the park. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, but it is what we do. The shelves are a bit old and sometimes the light in the back flickers, but it works for us. We just stay busy with the daily chores of a bookstore and try to keep things simple.
