Our place is on the second floor over at No. 4760-61 on Ansari Road. That’s in Daryaganj, which everyone knows is a bit of a hub for this kind of thing. It’s not the easiest stairs to climb if you’re carrying a heavy bag, but we’ve been here at number 23 for a good bit. The office is usually filled with stacks of paper and proofs that need looking at. It’s a bit cramped, honestly. Daryaganj always has that smell of old paper and street food outside. We spend our hours checking over things and making sure the printers are doing what they are supposed to do. It’s a lot of back and forth. Some days are quieter than others, but usually, there is someone coming in to talk about a new project or just to check on an old one. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a whole lot of books. The traffic on Ansari Road is always a nightmare, so we mostly stay tucked away inside. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit around. We just like doing the work and getting the pages out. It’s what we know. If the fans are working and the tea is hot, we are generally doing okay. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, but that’s just Daryaganj life.
