Jhankar Dance Music Institute

We are located in the NIT area of Faridabad, specifically in Block B at Nehru Ground. Our place is numbered 491/492, and it’s where we spend all our days. We have both dance and music happening here, so there is always some kind of noise coming from the rooms. One room might have someone practicing the tabla while another has a group learning a dance routine. It’s a busy part of Faridabad, so there’s always something happening outside in Nehru Ground too. We’ve been here for years and have seen a lot of students come and go. The institute is a bit worn in places because of all the use, but it’s a comfortable place for us. We don't have a big reception or anything like that, just some benches for people to wait on. We have different instruments tucked away in corners. Most of our teachers have been with us for a long time. It’s a practical space where people come to learn a skill and spend their spare time. We don't do much advertising; mostly people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends in Block B. It’s a straightforward life here, just teaching the notes and the steps one day at a time. We open up early and usually stay until the last student leaves in the evening. It’s a good spot for anyone looking to pick up an instrument.
