Mkd Furniture System is right here in Jasola, specifically at 147 Block - C Pocket - 11. It is a busy spot. Most mornings start with the sound of unloading wood or the smell of polish that gets everywhere. The workshop isn't fancy at all. We have saws, drills, and piles of sawdust that we try to sweep up but it always comes back. People come in looking for chairs or maybe a new wardrobe for their flat nearby. Sometimes they bring sketches on pieces of paper. We just look at them and see what can be done with the tools we have. It gets quite loud during the day because of the machines and the traffic outside in Jasola. We have been in this pocket for a bit now. Our desks are covered in notebooks and measuring tapes. It’s not a quiet office where people sit in suits. We are usually wearing dusty clothes and moving heavy pieces of plywood around. The sun comes through the front door in the afternoon, making the dust dance in the air. When the tea man comes around, everyone takes a five-minute break. It is just a regular place where furniture gets put together. Sometimes things take longer if a machine acts up, but that is how it goes. We know most of the neighbors now. It is just a practical space where we do the work every day.
