We operate from 199 Jorbagh, which is a fairly quiet part of the city compared to the main shopping markets. The building is an old residential structure that we converted into a working office space. It has high ceilings and those old wooden windows that rattle quite a bit whenever the wind picks up. We have been in this same spot for quite some time now. My partner and I handle almost all of the daily operations ourselves. We do not have a big staff because we prefer to keep things manageable and simple. We deal with various international goods, mostly acting as the middleman to help local shops get what they need from suppliers abroad. It involves a lot of sitting at the computer and waiting for replies to come back from different time zones. We have a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds usually seem to win in the end. Inside, the walls are lined with boxes and binders full of our old records. We do not have a formal dress code here. You will usually find me in a plain shirt and trousers, just trying to get through the daily pile of paperwork on my desk. We do not make big promises to anyone. We just tell people what we can do and then we try our best to get it done. It is a simple setup.
