Indian Art Handicraft Bazar

You can find Indian Art Handicraft Bazar at number 45 in the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Place complex. It is a busy part of Gole Market, so there is always a lot of movement around us. We have been here for years, and our space is pretty much filled to the ceiling with all sorts of items. We spend a good chunk of our day just moving things around to make room for new arrivals. It is hard to keep everything perfectly neat when you have so many small pieces of art and craft work. We are just a few people working here, and we handle everything ourselves from cleaning the floors to talking to the folks who walk in. The building itself has seen better days, but it has a lot of character that you don’t find in newer places. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we wrap items in old newspapers and bubble wrap. It is a lot of hands-on work and our fingers often end up covered in ink or tape. We don’t go in for anything too professional sounding. We are just a local business trying to keep our customers happy and our shelves stocked. The heat in Delhi can be tough, but we have a good rhythm going. It is a simple operation and we like the familiar faces of the people who work in the complex.
