Our place is over in Kirti Nagar, which most people know for the furniture markets, but we do something a bit different. Imports From China Dot In is really just a small operation run by a few of us who know the ins and outs of getting stuff from across the border. We don't have a big fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It's more of a functional space where we keep our records and handle the logistics of shipping and receiving. Kirti Nagar is a good location for us because it's central and people know how to get here, even if the traffic is a nightmare during peak hours. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and making sure the paperwork is actually correct for once. It’s not the kind of job that looks good in photos, mostly just boxes and computer screens. We’ve had some ups and downs over the years, especially when trade rules change or things get stuck at the port, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't big on corporate talk or long meetings that don't go anywhere. We prefer to just get things sorted and move on to the next task. It’s a steady job and we like the people we work with. The office gets a bit messy when a new shipment arrives, but we eventually clear it out. We just try to keep things moving along as best as we can.
