House Of Design

Our studio is located at Crc-2 on the first floor, right near Metro Pillar 28-B on M G Road in Sultanpur. House Of Design isn’t some massive firm with hundreds of employees. We are a small team working in a space that is often overflowing with fabric samples, sketches, and color swatches. Being so close to the metro pillar makes it easy to give directions, but the noise of the traffic below is something we’ve just had to get used to. We spend most of our time sitting around a large central table, debating over small details that probably wouldn't matter to anyone else. It’s not a very formal place; you’ll often find us working in jeans with music playing in the background. We don't have a receptionist to take calls, so whoever is closest to the phone usually just picks it up. The building itself is shared with other small businesses, so there is a bit of a communal feel in the hallways. We didn't set out to change the world with our designs; we just wanted a place where we could be creative and pay the bills. Sometimes we stay late into the evening when a project is due, ordering food and working under the fluorescent lights. It’s a simple setup, and we prefer it that way because it lets us focus on the actual work instead of managing a big office.
