Himalaya Exports Pvt Ltd is based in Connaught Place. We are in Flat Number 5, which is in the C-42 section of Dwarakasadan. Being in CP means we are right in the middle of everything. It’s a busy area, but our office inside the flat is relatively quiet. We’ve been here for years. It’s not a modern glass building, but it has that classic Delhi feel. We handle exports, which means a lot of paperwork and a lot of phone calls to customs and shipping agents. We have a small team. Everyone knows everyone else's business. We don't have any formal mission statements hanging on the walls. We just come in, check the emails, and try to get the goods moving. Sometimes there are delays at the port, and we have to spend all day on the phone trying to fix it. It can be stressful, but we’re used to it. We take our tea breaks together. There are plenty of good spots for food around here, so lunch is always something to look forward to. We don't do a lot of self-promotion. Most of our work comes through long-standing relationships we’ve built up over time. We’re just a local business doing our thing in the heart of the city. If you need to find us, just look for the old sign in the corridor. We’re usually here until late most evenings. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of noise, but you stop noticing after a while.
