H. Shivam Impex

H. Shivam Impex is situated in the Kirti Shikhar building, room 315, right in the heart of the Janakpuri District Center. If you’ve been to the District Center, you know it’s a massive place with tons of offices and people constantly running around. Being on the third floor means we’re away from the ground-floor noise, but the elevators can be a real test of patience during lunch hour. Our office is a decent size, though it feels smaller when we have a lot of paperwork piling up. We aren’t about that polished corporate look. We have our desks, our files, and a lot of coffee mugs scattered around. Janakpuri is a great hub for business, and we like being in the middle of the action. Most of our work involves the nitty-gritty of impex—checking regulations, coordinating with carriers, and making sure the numbers add up. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we do. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles in the peak heat, so we just make do with fans. We’re a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. There’s no strict hierarchy here; we just work together to get the shipments out. It’s a busy, somewhat messy, but very real workplace. We don’t have any grand slogans. We just stay focused on the daily grind and try to keep things moving.
