If you look for us in Pahar Ganj, we are right at Shop No. 2034 on Chitra Gupta Road. It is a busy part of Delhi, and the street outside is usually full of people and rickshaws going back and forth. Our space isn't huge, but we make it work for all the art stuff we do here. There are always brushes, papers, and paint jars sitting around on the tables. Sometimes the floor gets a few splashes of color, but that's just part of being an art school. People come in from all over the neighborhood. Some are just starting out and don't even know how to hold a pencil right, while others have been drawing for a long time. We spend our days mostly showing people how to look at things differently and get them down on paper. It gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby sometimes, but we just wipe the tables down and keep going. Chitra Gupta Road has a lot of character, and being in Pahar Ganj means there is never a dull moment outside the window. We aren't a big corporate chain with shiny glass walls. It’s just a regular shop where people sit down and focus on their work. Most of the time, you’ll find someone tucked away in a corner sketching something. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a big group shows up, but we always find enough chairs for everyone.
