Goel Caterers

We have been at 75 Khan Market for a long time now. It’s a busy spot, always crowded with people looking for something to eat or just walking through the narrow lanes. Goel Caterers isn’t a fancy place with velvet chairs or expensive decorations. It’s mostly about the food and getting things ready for people who need a meal for their small gatherings or just want to pick something up on the way home. My father started things here and I just kept it going because it’s what we know how to do. The kitchen gets very hot in the afternoons, especially when we are prepping for a big order. We spend a lot of time chopping vegetables and checking the spice mixes. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in the market traffic and we have to run things out by hand to the customers' cars. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We don't have a big office or anything fancy. Most of our work happens right here in the back or out at someone's house where they are having a party. People around here know us by now. They stop by to ask what’s cooking or to tell us about an event they are planning for next month. We try to keep things simple. If someone wants food, we make it. No big speeches or complicated menus. Just honest cooking from a small shop in the middle of a very busy market.
