Geetanshu Exports

You can find Geetanshu Exports down in Nakul Gali. It's number 8/5. Vishwas Nagar in Shahdara is a maze of small streets, but we've been here long enough that we know every turn. The office is small and filled with samples of the things we export. Some of them have been on the shelves for a long time and have a bit of dust on them. We open the shutters early in the morning to let some fresh air in. It gets pretty stuffy by noon. We don't have a big team. It's just a few of us. We spend a lot of time on the computer or writing things down in our ledgers. We still like using paper for some things. The floor is made of old stone and it stays cool. We have a couple of tube lights that sometimes take a few tries to turn on. It's just a normal workplace. There isn't any fancy lobby or a place for people to wait. If someone comes by, we just pull up a spare chair. We talk to the other business owners on the street about the weather or the local news. It’s a very local feel. We don't use big corporate words or have meetings that last for hours. We just talk like normal people. We focus on getting the work done and then we head home to our families. Some days are longer than others, but that is just how it goes.
