We are over here at 152, in the GF basement in Savita Vihar. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but that’s where Foodlife Hospitality Private Limited operates from. Being in a basement in Shahdara has its pros and cons, like it stays a bit cooler when the Delhi sun is beating down outside, but you definitely miss seeing the sky sometimes. We spend our hours managing different hospitality tasks and making sure the food side of things is sorted. It is a small team and we all know each other well. There is no corporate ladder here, just people doing their jobs. Savita Vihar is a decent neighborhood, though parking can be a total nightmare if you arrive at the wrong time. We’ve had some long days here, especially when things get busy with new projects. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of tea and checking what needs to be moved or organized for the day. It’s not a glamorous setup, just desks, some storage, and a lot of hustle. Most of the people around here know us as the folks in the basement. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. We just focus on the work that comes in and try to stay organized enough to get home at a reasonable hour. Shahdara is a lively place to be based, that’s for sure. It keeps us on our toes and reminds us why we started this in the first place.
