Design plus architecture

We are based in Padma Tower - 1, in units 703 and 704. It’s a tall building, and being up on the seventh floor gives us a bit of a view of the streets below. The tower is a typical commercial space, so the lobby and elevators are always full of people going about their business. Our office is a mix of different work zones. Areas for computer work sit alongside larger tables where drawings can be spread out. It isn't a very quiet office because chatting about different projects or solving some problem is constant. Plenty of notes and schedules are pinned up on the walls. It’s a working space through and through, not a place meant for showing off. Standard office furniture and regular lighting are all we have. Since so many hours are spent here, making it as comfortable as possible with what we have is important. Sometimes the elevators are slow or there is some maintenance work going on in the building, but that’s just taken in stride. Being in a central location makes it easier to get to different parts of the city when needed. Most of the day is spent keeping up with the workload and making sure nothing gets missed. It’s a busy, practical life here at Padma Tower, and getting on with the tasks in front of us is the main focus.
