The Work-Worm Architects

The Work-Worm Architects is our small firm located over in Sat Nagar, right at 5A/142 in the Wea Block of Karol Bagh. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of noise and people moving around all day long, which somehow helps us focus. We chose the name because we really do spend most of our hours hunched over drawings and computer screens. Our office is not one of those fancy glass buildings you see in movies. It is a practical space where we keep our rulers, pens, and stacks of blueprints piled up on the desks. Sometimes the coffee gets cold before we remember to drink it because we are stuck on a difficult part of a floor plan. We have been here for a while and the locals know us by now. We do not do much advertising; usually, people just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling sound in the summer, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it works for us. We just want to get the job done right and make sure the lines are straight on the paper. There are four of us working here most days, sharing the same big table. It gets a bit cramped when we have a big project going on, but we manage just fine. We mostly just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
