We are located at Plot No 206 A in the LIG Flats of Pocket 12, Jasola Vihar. It is a residential area, so it feels a bit different from being in a commercial hub. The office is basically set up in one of the flats, which gives it a very homey, lived-in feel. It’s not a shiny glass building; it’s a regular place where we have set up our drawing boards and computers. Because we are in Jasola Vihar, we are surrounded by families and everyday life, which is actually quite nice. You can hear kids playing outside sometimes or the sounds of people going about their business in the pocket. Inside, our space is pretty much filled to the brim with planning documents, maps, and architectural sketches. There is always a pot of tea on the go and some biscuits sitting around. We spend a lot of our time hunched over blueprints or looking at site plans on the monitors. It’s a small team, so we all know what everyone else is doing at any given moment. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it’s just a neighbor or a delivery, but mostly we are left to get on with our planning work. It is a quiet, steady kind of environment. We don’t have a receptionist, so if someone comes by, one of us just gets up from our desk to see who it is.
