Nizamuddin East is where we’ve been for quite some time. The office is on the first floor of B-2, right near the railway station, so it’s easy for people to find us even if they aren't from this part of Delhi. We spend most of our days looking at drawings and talking about site plans. It’s mostly about making sure things get built the way they were meant to be on paper. Architecture isn’t always glamorous; there’s a lot of paperwork and dealing with regulations that take up our time. We have a small team here. Sometimes it gets loud because of the trains nearby, but you get used to it after a while. Most of what we do involves sitting around a big table with rolls of blueprints and trying to figure out how to fit everything into a specific space. We work on various types of buildings, mostly around the city. We don’t really do fancy ads or anything. People usually just hear about us through someone else they know. If you come by, we are usually in the middle of a meeting or out visiting a site to check on the progress. It’s a busy place, but we try to keep things organized. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the office besides the computers. We just try to get the designs right so the builders don’t have too many headaches later. It’s a decent place to work and we keep ourselves busy.
