Shahpur Jat is a funny place. You get lost in these narrow lanes so easily. We are over at House Number 268, tucked away where the sunlight barely reaches the bottom floor. New Delhi-49 has changed a lot since we moved in. There are more boutiques now and a lot of creative people walking around. Our space is nothing special to look at. We have a couple of desks and a lot of papers stacked up. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and talk to the neighbors. It is better than being stuck in a cold, corporate building in Gurgaon. People come by mostly because they know someone who knows us. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that. That's just not how we do things here. We prefer it when someone walks in and asks for a glass of water before we even start talking business. It makes everything feel a bit more real. The walls need a new coat of paint, but we keep putting it off because we are too busy with the day-to-day stuff. It's a bit messy, but it's our mess. If you find your way through the maze of Shahpur Jat, you will find us there. We are usually around until late evening, unless it’s raining hard and the street floods a little. We just take things one day at a time.
