Parbhat Travels

Parbhat Travels is right in the DDA Market in New Rajinder Nagar, at unit D 15. Being in the market means we are right in the thick of things. There are vegetable sellers nearby and people always rushing around to get their shopping done. Our shop is small, and we have been here long enough that the paint is starting to look a bit old. We handle travel bookings, mostly for people who live right here in Rajinder Nagar. It is a lot of repeat business, which is nice because we know our customers by name. We spend our time checking bus schedules and seeing which trains have openings. It can be frustrating when the systems go down, but we just wait it out and try again. There is no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that works hard during the summer months. We keep the counter clear so people have a place to lean while we look up their trips. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we are easy to find and we know the travel business well. If you walk past the main DDA block, you will see our sign. It is a humble place, but it serves the purpose of getting people where they need to go. The market can get quite loud in the evenings, so we often have to speak up to be heard. We keep a stack of old ledgers under the desk for records.
