We’ve got this place over in Tilak Nagar at 24/91. It’s basically just a floor and some speakers, which is all we really needed to get started. Rahul usually gets here early to open the shutters and sweep up the dust that blows in from the street. It’s a neighborhood where everyone knows everyone, so we often have people sticking their heads in just to say hello or ask what song we’re playing. The space isn’t very big, so things get pretty loud quite fast. We have an old sofa in the corner that’s seen better days, but it’s a good spot to sit when your legs start to give out. We don’t spend much time on the office side of things. Most of the paperwork is just shoved into a drawer near the entrance. It’s more about the actual movement for us. Sometimes we stay late and just try out new moves we saw online, failing most of the time but having a laugh anyway. The lighting is just regular bulbs, nothing special, and one of them usually needs replacing. It’s a humble spot in a busy part of town. We don’t have any grand plans, we just like having a dedicated place where we can make some noise and not worry about the space being too precious. It's just how we run things every day now.
