India Inbound is tucked away on the mezzanine floor at L - 4 in Connaught Place. Being in CP means it is always noisy outside with all the shoppers and traffic circling the inner and outer rings. Our office is one of those older spaces with a low ceiling because of the mezzanine level. You have to watch your head in a couple of spots if you are tall. We spend our days mostly on the phone or answering emails about travel plans. It’s a lot of logistics, like figuring out which train connects where or which hotel actually has the rooms they promised. CP is a busy place to work because you can find any kind of food just by walking out the door, but the parking is a nightmare. We’ve been here for a while and the office has that lived-in look with maps pinned to the walls and folders stacked up on the desks. It isn't a shiny corporate showroom. It’s where the actual planning happens. Sometimes tourists wander in looking for directions because they saw our sign from the street. We try to help them out even if they aren't our clients. It’s just how things are in the travel trade. We deal with the day-to-day hiccups that come with moving people around a big country. It can be stressful when a flight gets delayed, but we just handle it and try to find another way for the guests.
