You can find us at No-29 in Shankar Market, which is right in the heart of Connaught Place. Being so close to the Barakhamba Metro Station is great because there is a constant stream of people walking past our door. Shankar Market has its own special vibe, a bit different from the rest of CP, and we fit right in. We’ve been here at Christ Foods for a while, just focusing on getting food out to the people who work in the offices nearby or those just passing through. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit cramped during the lunch rush, but we make it work. We don't have fancy menus or decorations. The walls are plain, and the tables are simple. Most of our regulars don’t even need to look at a menu anymore; they just tell us what they want as they walk in. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen, and it gets pretty hot back there, especially in the summer. We aren't trying to be some high-end restaurant. We are just a local spot where you can get something to eat without any fuss. Sometimes we run out of things early, and we just have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but that’s just how it is in central Delhi. We’re just happy to be part of the market and see the same faces every day.
