C.A.C. Green Environment Foundation

We’re located up on the second floor of E-1 in Prashant Vihar. It’s a decent enough spot in Rohini, though finding parking around here can be a real test of patience sometimes. At C.A.C. Green Environment Foundation, we spend a lot of our time looking at environmental issues and trying to figure out small ways to help. It’s not like we’re changing the world overnight, but we do what we can from this office. The space is filled with stacks of reports and maybe a few too many indoor plants that we sometimes forget to water. We aren't a big operation with a fancy reception desk or anything. It's mostly just a few of us working on projects and talking to local groups about greener habits. Rohini has its own vibe, and being here since we started has helped us get to know the local community. People sometimes walk up the stairs thinking we’re a different office, but we don't mind. We talk about waste management or planting trees quite a bit. It’s honest work, even if the progress feels slow on some days. The weather in Delhi usually dictates how much we can get done outside, so during the heatwaves, we’re mostly stuck here at our desks. We just try to stay consistent and keep the foundation running without making too much of a fuss about it. It is a quiet way to work on something we care about.
