Afzal Glass Works

We are over at B-11 Pant Marg, right on Street No. 3 in Brahampuri. If you know this part of town, you probably know Pooja Public School because we are located right opposite it. Being here in Brahampuri for all this time, we have seen the street change quite a bit, but Afzal Glass Works stays pretty much the same as it always was. Most days it is just us working through whatever orders come in from the neighbors or folks passing by. The shop isn't fancy at all. It is a working space where things get done. You can usually find us by looking for the school first since that is easier for most people to spot than our small sign on the door. There is always noise from the street and the school kids, which keeps things lively around here. We deal with glass all day, so there are always scraps and little pieces around the workbench that we have to sweep up. Street No. 3 is usually busy, so getting deliveries in and out can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we manage to make it work. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long while now. People stop by just to say hello or ask for a quick fix for a broken window pane. It is a simple setup we have here at B-11. We don’t have a big front office or anything like that. Just the workspace where the glass gets cut and stored. It is dusty and smells like hardware, but it is home for us. We just keep our heads down and handle the work that comes through the door every morning.
