Take Your Trip

We are over at C-90A on Street No. 3 in Bhajanpura. It is a typical local street, nothing too flashy, but it works for us. Our days are filled with looking at maps and booking tickets for people who want to go somewhere new. We handle a lot of the local trips and some longer ones too. The office is small and we have posters of different places on the walls, mostly just to keep the place looking decent. People from the neighborhood drop in to ask about bus prices or if there are any good deals for a pilgrimage. We just sit with them and look at the options on the screen. It is a lot of back-and-forth with airlines and hotels, trying to make sure everything lines up so people don't get stuck somewhere. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to apologize while we wait for a page to load. That is just part of life here. We don't use any fancy systems, just the usual stuff that lets us get the job done. It is a nice feeling when someone comes back from a trip and tells us they had a good time without any major problems with their bookings. We have some old chairs for people to sit on while we talk. It is not about being a big corporate travel desk, it is just us here in Bhajanpura. We know most of the families around here and they know where to find us if a ticket doesn't print right or if they need to change a date. We just keep things moving.
