Working out of Jhil Mil is okay. The Dsidc sheds are where we spend most of our time. It is industrial, so it gets noisy and dusty. We are at number 11. It is not a showroom or anything like that. Just a workspace where we pack things up and move boxes. Ashu Exports is just a small operation. My brother and I started it. We send things out. Most days we are just busy with paperwork or checking the stock in the shed. The industrial estate is a busy place with trucks coming and going all the time. Sometimes the power goes out, but we manage. We are not trying to be some huge corporation. Just keeping the business going year after year. If you come by, you might have to look for the number because the signs in Jhil Mil are not always clear. It is hard work, especially in the summer when it gets hot in the sheds. We have some regulars who know us well. We do not really do much fancy talk. Just doing the exports. We have been here a long time now. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops. We help each other out with tools sometimes. It is just how it is here. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure they leave on time. It is a simple life, mostly filled with the sound of tape machines and forklift engines from down the street.
