Our office is on the second floor at I-38, Lane No. 4 in Abulfazal Enclave. Being in Jamia Nagar, Okhla, means there is always something going on outside our windows. New Delhi is a crowded place, and this lane is no exception. Artq Interiors Pvt Ltd is just a group of us working in a couple of rooms. We’ve got some sample boards leaning against the walls and a lot of sketches pinned up. It’s not a polished corporate office. The stairs are a bit narrow and the doorbell doesn't always work on the first try. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and making sure we have enough supplies for our projects. We don't have any big marketing brochures or a fancy reception area. Usually, you’ll just find us hunched over a laptop or talking on the phone with a contractor. We’ve been in Okhla for some time now, so we’re used to the noise and the busy atmosphere. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the materials are good quality. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes to keep everything on track, but we manage. We’re just local people doing interior work, trying to stay busy and do right by the folks who hire us. It’s a plain and simple operation here in Jamia Nagar. We don't make it complicated. We just do the work and go home when it's done.
