Ajanta Creations

Ajanta Creations is located right in the heart of Shahdara at 25/13, Vishwas Nagar. If you know the Main 60ft Road, you know it is always loud and busy with rickshaws and vendors. Our shop is in Gali No 14. It’s one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows each other’s business. We have been working here for years. The shop isn't a polished showroom. It’s a workshop where we actually make things. There is usually dust on the windows and the floor is covered in scraps from whatever project we are working on today. We don’t use fancy marketing words. We are just local people doing our job. Most of our day is spent at the back of the shop where the light is a bit better. We drink tea from the corner stall and talk to the people walking past our door. Gali No 14 has a life of its own. When it rains, we have to be quick to move the materials so they don't get damp. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes, but that’s just part of being in an old neighborhood like Shahdara. We don’t have a big corporate office or a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s an honest way to work and it keeps us busy from morning until the street lights come on.
