Our little shop is on the first floor of the Mini Market in Kalkaji. It’s Shop No 15. If you go behind the fish market at the DDA Flats, you will see the sign. It’s a busy road outside, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. We spend our days thinking about how houses should look. It's mostly about drawing on the computer and looking at samples of materials. The office is small but we have everything we need right here. It can get a bit crowded when more than two people are in here at once. Sometimes the smell from the market downstairs is a bit strong but you get used to it. We like being in Kalkaji because everything is close by. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know each other well. We sit around the main desk and discuss ideas. It’s not a polished showroom like the ones you see in magazines. It’s more of a workshop where we figure things out. People drop by with questions and we try to give them straight answers. We don't use big words to sound smart. We just explain how things work and what we can do. It's a simple life here in Delhi 110019. We just keep drawing and designing one day at a time. It’s not always easy but it is work that we understand well.
