Working in a basement means it stays a bit cooler during the hot New Delhi summers, though we do miss the sunlight sometimes. It is a quiet enough spot once you get inside. We have been here for a bit, handling our daily business without much fuss. The area around here is mostly residential, so it feels different than the main commercial hubs. We usually start the day early before the traffic in West Delhi gets too bad. There is a lot of paperwork to get through, and someone is always on the phone with a supplier or a driver. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just our small space where we get the job done. Sometimes the neighbors pop by to say hello, or the delivery guys get lost looking for the plot number, but we manage.
