Glorious 9 School

You can find Glorious 9 School over at Shop No 2 A in Nellore. We’re tucked in right beside the Iskon Temple, which is a great landmark for anyone trying to visit us. If you’re coming from Annamaiah Circle, we’re just a short distance away. The 524001 area is a good part of town to be in. Being so close to the temple means we hear the bells and the chanting quite often, which is actually quite nice when things get stressful. The school itself isn’t very big, since it’s technically a shop space, but we’ve made it work for the kids. It’s cozy and everyone knows each other’s names here. We don’t have a big fancy office or a lobby; you just walk right in from the street. The floor is easy to sweep, and we try to keep things tidy despite the dust that blows in from the road. People in Nellore are friendly, and we have good relationships with the other shop owners on our row. Sometimes we share tea in the afternoons when the kids have gone home. It’s a simple life running a school like this. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles, just the basic stuff you need to teach. It feels like a small community inside these walls. We’re just local people doing our bit in the neighborhood.
