Don Bosco Matriculation School

Our school, Don Bosco Matriculation, is located out in Dagadarthi, which is a bit of a quiet area in the Nellore district. It’s a place where you see a lot of kids in their uniforms walking down the dusty roads every morning. We’ve got a fairly simple setup here with several classrooms and a small office area where we keep all the records. The building is painted a bright color so it stands out against the local landscape. We spend a lot of time organizing the daily schedule, making sure the bells ring on time and that the teachers have what they need for their lessons. It’s not always easy keeping everything in order, especially when the younger kids get a bit rowdy during their breaks. We have a small courtyard where they gather for the morning assembly. The weather here in Dagadarthi can be tough, especially when it’s dry and windy, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning dust off the desks. People around here know the school well because many of them went here themselves years ago. It’s a very local thing. We don't have fancy computer labs, just books, benches, and teachers who have been working here for a long time. It’s just a regular school day for us, starting early and ending when the sun starts to dip. We have a small staff room where we sit and go over the homework piles during our free periods. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just keep going without the fans.
