Aptwrs School

Aptwrs School is situated in Talamanchi, which is over in the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but it is a good spot for a school. The area is mostly quiet, surrounded by fields and open space. We have a set of buildings that serve as our classrooms and offices. Every morning, the buses and cycles arrive, and the place fills up with noise. We do not do anything too fancy. Our main job is to make sure the teachers are in their rooms and the kids are focused on their lessons. Being in a rural part of Nellore means we have to be practical about everything. If a pipe breaks or a light goes out, we usually have to figure out how to fix it ourselves. It is a very hands-on way of running a school. We do not have any polished brochures or big websites. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or relatives. The staff here has been working together for a long time, so we have a rhythm to our days. We eat our lunch together and talk about the small things happening in the village. It is a simple, honest life. We just want to make sure that the children in Talamanchi have a decent place to learn their subjects without having to travel too far away from their homes. It is hard work, but we stay busy.
