Tapovan Sanskardham School

Our school sits right off National Highway No 8 in the Kabilpore area of Navsari. Being near the highway means there is always a lot of movement around us. We see a lot of trucks and cars passing by all day long. The school itself is a bit of a landmark for people driving through this part of Gujarat. We have a fair amount of space here compared to schools in the middle of a city. The kids come in from all over the surrounding villages and the Navsari town area. Most of them arrive on buses or cycles. The mornings are quite busy when everyone is trying to get through the main gates at the same time. We spend a lot of our day out in the hallways or walking between the different blocks. It’s a lot of walking because the campus is spread out. The dust from the road can be a bit much in the summer, but we try to keep the place tidy. We have local staff who handle everything from the accounts to the gardening. It’s not a fancy institution; it’s just a place for learning. We have our regular routines, like the morning assembly and the lunch break under the trees. By the afternoon, the highway noise starts to fade out as we close up for the day. It’s just a steady, working school that has been part of Kabilpore for quite a while now.
