Navjeevan Sarvajanik High School

Navjeevan Sarvajanik High School has been a part of the Umbergaon community in Valsad for quite a long time now. We are a local high school that focuses on providing a place for the kids in this area to get their education. Our building is not new or shiny, but it is a solid place that has seen many generations of students pass through its doors. We have the usual classrooms and a basic outdoor area where the students can spend their breaks. Most of the people who work here, from the teachers to the support staff, are from around this part of Valsad themselves. This gives the school a very local and friendly feel. We do not have a big marketing budget or a corporate office in some distant city. We are just right here in Umbergaon, doing the daily work of teaching. Sometimes we have to deal with the usual problems of an older building, like a leaky roof or a door that won't shut right, but we fix things as they come up. Our main goal is just to keep the classes running and make sure the students are learning what they need to know. You won't find any fancy slogans or polished speeches here. We are just a practical school for local people. If you walk through the neighborhood, you will see our school and the kids in their uniforms. It is a simple, honest part of life here.
