Sant Raghaw Das Public School

Sant Raghaw Das Public School is situated on Dharampur Road in Abrama. This is in Valsad, and the local area is quite familiar with where we are. We have a gate that opens right onto the road. Most of the families living around Dharampur Road know us because their children have been coming here for years. The school day starts early when the sun is just coming up. We have to get the rooms ready and the chalkboards cleaned. It is a regular public school where we try to follow the curriculum as best as we can. The building has seen many students come and go over the seasons. We have a few trees in the yard that give some shade during the hotter months in Valsad. The staff room is usually full of notebooks that need grading. We do not have any fancy technology, just the usual desks and benches. People stop by the office to ask about admissions or just to check on their kids. We talk to them plainly about what is happening in the classes. It is a simple life here at the school. We are just focused on the daily tasks of teaching and keeping the place running. There is no big mystery to it, just hard work and keeping the kids on track with their studies. It is a solid part of the Abrama neighborhood.
