St Francis Of Assisi Convent High School

If you walk down Lunsikui Road in Navsari, you will find St Francis Of Assisi Convent High School. It has been sitting there for quite some time. The area around Lunsikui is usually busy, and our gate is right there where all the action is. Inside, the building is old but sturdy. We have many classrooms and a lot of students coming in every morning from different parts of the city. The teachers here mostly focus on getting through the syllabus. We have a set routine that starts early. You can hear the prayers and the morning announcements from the street. It’s a high school, so the kids are older and they move between classes for different subjects like science or math. The playground gets dusty in the summer, but that doesn’t stop anyone from playing. We don't have fancy gadgets in every room, just the usual stuff you expect in a school. Some of the windows need fixing and the paint is peeling in some corners, but we keep things clean. Being on Lunsikui Road means we are easy to find, which helps the parents. After school, the whole street is full of bicycles and kids walking home. We just do our jobs day in and day out. It’s a place where people know each other. Most of us have lived in Navsari our whole lives, so it feels like a small community inside the walls. We are just a regular school on a regular street.
