Shri Sarvajanik High School

You will find Shri Sarvajanik High School over in Umbergaon. For those of us living in this part of Valsad, it’s a familiar landmark. We have been part of the community here for years. The school building is older, and it shows its age in some spots, but it holds up well enough. Students come to us from all over the 396170 area. Being a high school, the kids are a bit older and the days are a bit longer. Glossy brochures or mission statements aren't things we have. If you walk in, you’ll just see a regular school with students moving between classes. Out front is the yard where most of the activity happens during the breaks. Keeping the trees trimmed and the gate working right is part of the work. For some of the students, it’s a bit of a walk, but they make it every morning. Our staff isn't massive, just enough of us to keep the classes going and the building maintained. Thick walls help when the wind from the coast hits us pretty hard. It’s an honest sort of place. Opening up early and getting the work done is what we do before heading home when the sun starts going down. People in Umbergaon know where we are if they need us. Just a standard high school doing what schools do in a small town like this.
