SHREE RAM GRANITE & STONE

If you have ever been down the Vashi-Panvel Highway, you probably know the Kalamboli Marble Market area. It is a noisy place with a lot of heavy traffic, and we are right there at Plot No-24-25 in Sector 23. Our space is filled with granite and various stones stacked up against the metal walls. It isn't a quiet shop. There is always the sound of cranes or someone unloading a big truck from the quarry. We have been in this exact spot for a long while now. The sun can be pretty brutal out in the yard, so we try to get most of the heavy moving done very early in the morning before it gets too bad. When people stop by, they usually have a lot of questions about how the stone will look once it is actually installed. We just show them what we have on the lot and let the stone speak for itself. Sometimes we sit and have tea together in the back office while we figure out the delivery schedules for the week. It gets messy sometimes because stone creates a lot of grit and mud when it is cut or polished with water. We don’t mind the mess. It is just part of the daily routine here at the market. We handle everything from small pieces to massive slabs that take several men to shift. We are just a bunch of regular people working in the yard every day.
