Ramdev Granite

You can find Ramdev Granite at Plot No. 88 in the Janta Market area of Sector 23, Turbhe. It’s part of the Cidco Services Industrial area, so it’s definitely not a quiet spot. We are right near the Bank of India branch, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. There is always something going on in Turbhe—trucks moving, people unloading goods, and the general hum of the industrial market. We handle a lot of granite slabs and they take up most of our space. The office is small and practical because we spend more time out with the stone than sitting at a desk. It’s a bit of a gritty place, but that’s the nature of the stone business in Navi Mumbai. We deal with all sorts of people, from builders to homeowners who wander in looking for a piece of granite for a small kitchen fix. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. It’s just the slabs leaning against the walls and us showing them to whoever walks in. It gets dusty and loud with the traffic from the main road, but we like the energy of the market. We’ve been at this plot for a good amount of time and we just keep doing what we do. If the Bank of India has a long queue, the street gets even more jammed with bikes. We just wait for the path to clear and get our next delivery moved.
