We’re located in Sanpada, over in B Wing, Room 303 of Sector 14. Being in Mumbai, things are always moving at a different speed. The trains are nearby, so you can always hear that distant rumble. It’s a busy sector with lots of other offices around. Our space is pretty simple. It’s a standard office unit where we handle the logistics and the commercial side of the steel business. We don't have those big sprawling yards like our other locations; it’s all computers and phones here. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow during the lunch rush, which is always a bit annoying. We usually bring our tiffins or grab something from the stalls downstairs. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us, but that’s just Mumbai life. We focus on the numbers and the shipping schedules from this desk. It’s a lot of data entry and talking to vendors. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when deadlines are tight, but we just push through. The view from the window isn't much, just other buildings and the street below. We’ve got our files organized in cabinets that have seen better days. It’s an honest place to work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with modern art or expensive rugs. We just need a functional space to make sure the business side of the steel operations keeps running smoothly for everyone involved. We just keep the coffee brewing and the keyboard clicking to stay ahead of the work.
