Being in a housing society means the office feels a lot more personal than a cold commercial tower. We have neighbors who are living their lives right next door, so we try to keep the noise down. The office is on the third floor, and the stairs are usually the faster way up if you don't want to wait for the lift. We deal with metal products, so there is often some talk about specifications and shipping dates. Most of the day is spent on the computer or handling calls from clients and factories. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; whoever is closest to the door just opens it. The space is filled with desks, some old product catalogs, and the usual office supplies. Navi Mumbai is a bit more spread out than the main city, which we appreciate. We have a small pantry where we make tea and heat up our lunches. It’s a very simple existence. We don't use big words or have complicated meetings.
